Nice write-up and WeRide video! I like the AV mini-bus concept and use case, seems like there could be a decent market for this - especially in low traffic, private roads, etc. Interesting about the taxi/weride business model, not sure taxi drivers are best suited to be safety drivers as it's quite a different skill..
I agree. I’ve also recently gotten intel that some of the taxi drivers are taxi drivers only to be AV safety drivers. In other words, they’ve never actually driven a taxi before. They only got certified because of the WeRide job. Very different requirements than the west…
Hi Kara, sorry we couldn't get to all the questions! Feel free to email me directly at s@probably.ninja. I'm also planning a Q&A issue of the newsletter so people can send questions in and hopefully get them answered!
Really enjoyed watching the WeRide Video! Is a pony.ai video also coming? 😁
Yes of course!
Amazing! Will definitely feature your videos in my Newsletter. Keep up the good work :)
Thanks so much!

Greetings, Sophia! Just heard you speak in Luke's webinar. Any chance you can email me, so I can send you a few of my students' questions? Thanks so much!
